What are your hours of operation?
We’re open Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM and closed on weekends for virtual services. However, in-person sessions are available at our New Orleans, LA office on weekends by appointment only, between 10 AM and 7 PM. Please note that we are closed on holidays.

What type of services do you offer?
We provide a range of wellness and spiritual services, including astrology, readings, spiritual baths, cleansing rituals, healing, reiki, community events, mentorship, classes, and consultations. For a full list of our offerings, please visit our Pricing + Services page.

Are you affiliated with any specific religion?
Sincerely, LOTUS is not affiliated with any one religion. While we may incorporate techniques inspired by Hoodoo and various African Traditional Religions (ATRs) in our rituals and product creation, our company itself remains non-denominational. We proudly employ team members from a variety of faith backgrounds, whether mainstream religions or African Traditional Religions, fostering an inclusive and diverse environment that respects all spiritual paths.

How can I inquire about a service not listed on your site?
If you’re interested in a service that’s not listed, please reach out via email or our text line. All services are by appointment only, and we do not accept walk-ins.

Can I buy a service or product as a gift for someone else?
Yes! Many of our services and products make wonderful gifts for those embarking on a spiritual journey. Please contact us for assistance with gifting options, as some services may require additional information about the recipient to ensure a tailored experience.

What is a psychic reading?
Psychic readings involve a professional using their intuitive abilities to provide insights and guidance to clients through tools like tarot cards or astrology charts. These messages can include information about the past, present, or future, and help navigate specific situations or challenges. However, they should not replace professional advice from licensed therapists or medical professionals.

What is a medium reading?
A medium reading allows a medium to communicate with loved ones who have passed away, providing personal information, guidance, closure, and validation. It can be an emotional and healing experience. During this session, you may ask questions, seek answers, and even catch up with loved ones who are dearly departed.

What is an akashic reading?
An akashic reading involves accessing a cosmic database of information about each individual’s spiritual journey. During a reading, a trained practitioner helps clients gain insight and guidance about various aspects of their life. This spiritual practice can be transformative and empowering, helping individuals understand their soul’s purpose and lessons to learn in this lifetime.

What is a spiritual bath ritual?
Spiritual bath rituals are a practice found in various spiritual traditions, involving cleansing the body and soul with natural ingredients believed to have healing properties. The ritual can help release negative energy, connect with higher powers or ancestors, and promote spiritual well-being and inner peace. It can be done alone or with a group and may include prayer, meditation, chanting, and visualization.

What is a spiritual consultation?
A spiritual consultation is a meeting between an individual and a qualified spiritual advisor or counselor, who helps the individual find insights and guidance to deepen their connection to spirituality, improve their overall well-being, and find greater peace and fulfillment in their life. During our sessions, we will come up with a roadmap and plan to help you on your spiritual journey leading you to become the best version of yourself.

What is a reiki session?
Reiki is an alternative therapy originating from Japan that involves a practitioner using their hands to channel universal life energy into the client’s body, with the intention of promoting healing and balance. Clients typically experience deep relaxation and peace during a session, along with physical sensations such as warmth or tingling. While not a replacement for medical treatment, reiki can be a helpful complement to traditional medicine. This practice is great for those who may be experiencing blockages or physical problems that modern medicine has been unable to treat.

What happens if I book a ritual and see no results?
Ritual work is a deeply personal and spiritual process, and its results can vary greatly depending on individual circumstances, intentions, and openness to the process. While we aim to create an environment conducive to positive outcomes, we cannot guarantee specific results, as each person’s journey and spiritual experience are unique. Ritual results often take time to manifest, and results may not be immediately visible. We encourage clients to remain patient, mindful, and open to subtle shifts in their lives that can indicate progress. If you have concerns or questions about your experience, please feel free to reach out to our team for further guidance and support. However, please note that refunds are not issued for rituals due to the nature of this spiritual service.

What is your refund and exchange policy?
Due to the nature of our services and products, we have a strict no-refund policy. This applies to all items that have been shipped, custom-made products (such as jars, baths, and oils), as well as services rendered, including accidental bookings. Absolutely no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. However, if you experience any issues with your order, please contact us. We are open to resolving specific concerns and may consider exchanges for damaged items (excluding jars) or offer additional credits for rescheduled services due to team-related issues. All exchanges and credits are subject to review and granted at our team’s discretion.

What is your cancellation policy?
For online sessions, cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 12 hours before the appointment time. For in-person services, cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Please note that we do not offer refunds for canceled or rescheduled services outside of these timeframes. All refunds and credits are issued at the sole discretion of the owner.

What is your shipping policy?
All orders require 3-5 business days for processing. Once processed, a tracking number will be sent to you via email. After you receive your tracking number, your order will ship out on the next business day. We ship all orders on Thursdays, so depending on when your order is processed, your shipment may be scheduled for the following week. Please note that shipping times may vary depending on your location and the carrier’s delivery schedule. Due to ongoing uncertainties with mail delivery, especially during peak times, delivery times are not guaranteed. If your package has not arrived within 7-10 business days after the expected delivery date, please contact our team for assistance.

Can I book a same-day or emergency session?
We do offer rush services, but they are subject additional $100 fee, depending on availability. Please contact us directly to inquire about same-day or emergency appointments. Note that all rush sessions are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

How are readings conducted?
All readings are conducted over the phone unless otherwise noted. You’ll receive a text reminder one hour before your session, followed by a second reminder 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time. We allow a 15-minute grace period, but if you don’t show up, your session will be canceled without a refund.

What if I feel uncomfortable during a session?
Your comfort is our top priority. If, at any point, you feel uncomfortable, please let us know. You are welcome to pause or end a session if needed, and we will work with you to find the best approach for your needs.

Do you require a deposit for in-person services?
Yes, all in-person services or events require a deposit or flat rate fee at the time of booking. Invoices must be settled at least 7 days before the scheduled date. Certain services may incur an additional flat rate per person, which will be reflected in the final invoice. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable and subject to change at the owner’s discretion.

Do in-person services incur any additional fees?
Yes, all in-person services will incur a travel fee of $3 per mile if travel is required. Additionally, there is a $100 surcharge for rush services (such as same-day readings or rituals). Please ensure your contact details are accurate to facilitate smooth communication and service.

What should I do to prepare for my session?
To get the most out of your session, we recommend setting aside time in a quiet space where you can focus without interruptions. It can be helpful to reflect on your intentions or questions beforehand, especially for readings or rituals. Being open-minded and relaxed will allow for a more fulfilling experience.

Are the services offered suitable for minors?
Our services are designed for clients aged 18 and older. We strive to provide a safe, respectful space for self-exploration and personal growth for adults ready to take charge of their spiritual journey.

Is my identity safe with you?
We prioritize your privacy and will never share your personal information, session details, or identity without your consent. Sincerely, LOTUS is committed to creating a safe, private, and judgment-free space for all clients.
